Lost Valley Education & Event Center
Joined July 2013 - Member Camp
Lost Valley Education & Event Center is nestled among serene pine forest on an 88 acre nature sanctuary, located just 18 miles southeast of Eugene, Oregon. We are a full service retreat center, complete with a dining lodge and adjacent kitchen serving organic vegetarian meals, two dormitories with full bathrooms and a capacity to sleep up to 68 guests, a beautiful meadow for tent camping, interpretive hiking trails, and class rooms and other meeting space available to reserve. During the summer months we can host camping groups or events for more than 100 people. We are committed to the health of our planet and our guests. Various natural building, sustainable living and permaculture projects are integrated into our campus, including organic gardens, greywater systems, and a solar hot water shower. We offer courses through our Inside Wellness / Outside Sustainability workshop menu, bring your own programming, or mix and match - we happily customize programs to fit unique needs. We welcome you to discover the tranquility and beauty of Lost Valley.
Each issue will highlight a camp in the Oregon Trail region so we can become better accquainted with our fellow camps, programs, and members in the area.
